I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, there are times in our lives that we get so busy in the hustle and bustle of daily life that we forget to stop and give pause for what truly matters. Luckily, we have a holiday that serves as a reminder to stop and look around at the blessings in our lives and to give thanks. I hope that you all have the opportunity to spend the holiday with the ones you care about and that the turkey is moist and the smiles are genuine.
A tradition in our family, much to the chagrin of the children, is that everyone has to stand and state a minimum of three things that give them gratitude (and then we break out the board games).
Enjoy the holiday!
