Thank you for all your help to ensure a safe and successful return to in-person learning. It has been so energizing to see our students and families again. It is heartwarming to see the smiles that show in the students’ eyes and to hear the kids talk about how much they love coming to school!
As a staff, we continue to review our procedures and evaluate our needs. One thing we have discovered is a need to have students in our lower elementary grades to have a place to safely manage their belongings. With strict procedures in place, we are allowing students take to turns and use their individually assigned lockers. This has helped both in the classroom and for transitions from the lunchroom to recess to be safer and more efficient. It also provides a personal place for extra clothes for the occasional need.
Arrival and departures have been timely and efficient, however, we need your help. Please exercise great caution and keep your eyes and ears open when pulling in or out of the parking lot. We ask that you remain in (or near) your car and allow the staff to help students get to their cars. It may take a little longer, but our little ones can be very hard to see if they try to run across to see you.
Thank you for all your support. We appreciate you!
