Mrs. Schneider’s first grade classroom has been busy this month. In reading, we have been focusing on different types of sentences and finding the main idea and supporting details. In writing, we have been learning how to add interesting details. In Social Studies we have been learning about families. Our focus in Science has been on the weather. We also had a fun and educational field trip to The Marquis Theatre in Northville for a wonderful performance of the Snow Queen. We then learned how life was like long ago by exploring the unique historical buildings of Mill Race Village. We are looking forward to the start of a new year!
