Thursday, April 28 is Care to the Core Day across the district. On this date, all Dearborn Schools will participate in various activities that demonstrate or teach students about Core Values. At Howe School, our theme will be Acceptance. We chose to wear blue to show support and acceptance of people with Autism because April is also Autism Acceptance month. In the classrooms, there will be a variety of activities such as reading stories, scavenger hunts, presentations, and various other activities designed to help our students understand, accept, and celebrate the similarities and differences in all of us. We are looking forward to a great day!
