Greetings Howe Families,
I wanted to make you all aware that a crew will begin construction to replace a water main on our campus. The construction may begin as soon as tomorrow (Wednesday) and is projected to last a few weeks. As part of the construction, a section of the parking lot off of Ann Arbor Trail will need to be closed off and it will be reduced to one lane near the exit. As a result, there will be fewer parking spaces available. The staff has been asked to refrain from parking in this lot to allow our families to use the spaces for official office business and for signing students in/out of school. Please use caution and patience as we deal with this inconvenience. We will evaluate the traffic flow at dismissal time to determine what traffic patterns may need to be adjusted to allow for a safe and orderly dismissal for our early elementary students. At this time, I do not foresee any impact on our upper elementary arrival or dismissal. As always, we appreciate your understanding, patience, and flexibility.
