Help Us Keep Our School Healthy

Cold and flu season is still upon us. We realize children sometimes get sick and will need to be kept home from school so they can recover and to keep from spreading germs to their classmates and school staff. Recently, we received a few reports of pink eye spreading through families in our Montessori program. Please help us keep our school healthy by keeping your child home if they are showing symptoms of illness. District guidance requires students to stay home for 24 hours following the first dose of antibiotics for pink eye. We are working with our custodial staff to ensure that classroom surfaces receive additional cleaning to help prevent further spread.

Please see the document below for guidance on when your must keep your child home from school. Please note that over the counter medications often mask symptoms that are contagious and can spread to others.

When To Keep Your Child Home

Thank you for helping to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for our students and staff.
