It is hard to believe, but tomorrow we will turn the page to a new month. March is Reading Month and our theme for the month is Charlotte’s Web. All of our students in all of our programs will be reading the book together and engaging in activities around the book. In addition, there are many important dates to be aware of.
Friday, March 1- Popcorn Friday! A $1 donation to the PTA will get your child a bag of popcorn.
Monday, March 4- Spirit Day- Dr. Suess Day- Dress like your favorite Dr. Suess character
Tuesday, March 5- Early Release and Drop Everything And Read Day- Bring your favorite book to read!
Wednesday, March 6- Wear a Shirt with Words Day!
Thursday, March 7- Class Color Day; K- Red, 1st Orange, 2nd Yellow, 3rd Green, 4th Blue, 5th Purple
Thursday, March 7- 4:00 Chess Match vs. Duvall at Howe School Cafeteria
Friday, March 8 -Dress Like your Favorite Book Character
Monday, March 11- Ramadan Begins
Tuesday, March 12- Early Release and Parent-Teacher Conferences
Tuesday, March 19- Early Release
Tuesday, March 21- Parent Partnership Meeting at 9:00 – Topic iReady and Personalized Learning
March 25-March 29- NO SCHOOL- SPRING BREAK
Monday, April 1- Return to School- Montessori Application Deadline at 4:00 pm
