Greetings Howe School Families,

Welcome back! We hope you all enjoyed a safe and healthy summer break. We are looking forward to another great school year!  Having a strong home- school connection is the best way to provide our students with the highest quality education possible.  

Here are some important events that are happening the first weeks of school. 

• Friday, August 22, 2025 from 12:00-1:30pm we will be hosting our Open House at Howe.
• Monday, August 26, 2025, is the first day of school. 11:30am dismissal.
• Tuesday, August 26, 2025 is the first full day of school.
• No school on August 29, 2025- September 1, 2025.
• September 2, 2025 school resumes.  

Safety of our students will always be priority so we will need to adhere to our arrival and dismissal procedures:

• All Special Education programs will have the same drop off and pick up procedures.
• Grades K, 1, and 2 will use the same door 18
• Grades 3-5 will use door 20. 

*If you have students that belong at both drop off points. You may drop all students off at the oldest child’s drop off location. 

We will be working closely with the Howe staff to ensure that every child at Howe finds success both academically and socially.  As a team, we will work collaboratively to make sure our students are exposed to quality instruction that is both engaging and challenging.

We are extremely excited to start this school year and we look forward to seeing you all at Open House!
